About Us

Perryville House was built in 1810 by Captain Adam Warren Perry for his family whose ancestors continued to reside until the late 1950's. It had various owners from then until 1997.

Fired by the beauty, character and history of this lovely house Andrew & Laura Corcoran undertook the mammoth task of refurbishing and bringing it back to its former glory. Situated in the heart of Kinsale, overlooking the harbour, Perryville House opens it's doors and welcomes guests from April to October

Central to our philosophy at Perryville is the food we serve. As a family, slow food and local produce has always been a part of our daily lives, which is why we take such pride in serving the same to our guests be it in the Breakfast Room or Tearoom

Our guests will experience a true sense of Irish Hospitality. We do not employ managers, but a small dedicated team who work alongside the Corcoran family delivering a true and real sense of what it is to stay in an Irish Country House.

Fresh produce is sourced locally, usually within 20 miles of Kinsale. Our delicious honey comes from three beehives proudly managed by Andrew, and our eggs are provided by Ruth’s happy hens who run freely around her garden. Food is always better tasted than talked about so we invite you try for yourselves.
